1. Why does the gas pedal have a smooth surface?
The gas pedal is intentionally left smooth for safety reasons. You don’t want you foot
“sticking” to the accelerator. The brake and clutch pedals are designed to optimize grip
and have a different surface then the gas pedal. This is same reason we can not engrave
anything on the gas pedal.

2. How's the grip? They look smooth and I'm worried about slipping
in the rain.
AutoVation pedals have patent pending "Anti-slip" raised edges designed to provide much greater grip than
factory or other aftermarket pedals, especially when wet.

3. What is Drive by Wire? Why do I need to know about it?
In a Drive by Wire car, the gas pedal is physically isolated from the
throttle. When you press the gas pedal, a sensor detects the pedal movement and
the ECU handles changing the throttle position and other engine characteristics
to deliver the requested power. In a non-Drive by Wire car, the throttle
and pedal are physically linked and the pedal directly manipulates the throttle
position. On some cars such as Audi, we need to know this to determine
what type of gas pedal to ship you.

4. I don't see my car listed? Can you make a pedal for me?
Certainly! We would be very
willing to work with you to design a new pedal. All you need to do is
follow the instructions in the link (below) and provide us with the required
templates and pictures to get started
http://www.autovation.net/new/pedal_template.htm
We typically offer excellent tester discounts (up to 50% off retail) if you can
get us the templates and test the fitment!

6. I live in Canada and would like you to mark the package as "gift" to avoid customs fees. Can you do this?
We cannot mark packages as a gift. We do a lot of international shipping and please understand that
we do not want to put our business at risk with the authorities. On occasion we have excellent group buy pricing and free shipping
which will help offset some of these costs.
