New Pedal Template Instructions
If we don't have a pedal set for your car, we would like to work with you to design one. If you are interested, follow these instructions below and provide us with the required templates and pictures to get started.
If you are
the first one to submit a template that we do not have - and test the
fitment, you'll get a nice discount off your set just for helping out!
Overview
This is a very simple procedure that should only take you a 10-15 minutes. Only three items are needed:
Item #1 Trace of OEM rubber covers (Step 1)
Item #2 Trace of non-removable pedals such as gas and foot rest (Step 2) and included dimensions of OEM metal pedals (Step 3)
Item #3 Pictures of OEM Metal Pedals (Step 4)

What you will need
Paper & Pencil - Steps 1,2,3
Tape (Scotch) - Step 2
Camera (preferably digital) - Step 4
Access to vehicle - All Steps
Procedure
Step #1 Remove OEM rubber covers - NOTE: On most vehicles the gas and (if applicable) foot rest covers are not removable. Do not attempt to remove these. These will be traced in Step 2
...trace the outline of the rubber covers onto a piece of paper.
When you are finished, label the template using Make / Model / Year / Transmission and also denote orientation (top, bottom) and the pedal types (gas, brake, clutch, etc.)
Item #1 - Results of the trace of the OEM rubber covers ...

Step #2 Trace the non-removable pedals (typically the gas and foot rest)
On most vehicles the gas and foot rest pedal covers are not removable. To trace non-removable pedals, use a small roll of tape to ahere the paper to the pedal and using the side of a pencil, trace the outside edges of the pedal.
... then re-trace the outlined edges....

Step #3 Obtain dimensions of OEM metal pedals (i.e., pedals without rubber covers)
Try to be exact and be sure to measure ALL SIDES of EACH pedal.

Be sure to label the template using Make / Model / Year / Transmission and also denote orientation (top, bottom) and the pedal types (gas, brake, clutch, etc.)
Item #2 - note that we do not need measurements on "exact size" traces

Step #4 Take pictures of the pedals without rubber covers
In addition to the templates, we must have pictures of the pedals, both from the front and the side to illustrate the pedal curvature and bar placement....
Item #3 Pictures...

Notes - the pictures in this document were taken from an Automatic. If you are getting templates for a Manual treat the clutch the same way as the brake. Also, if the vehicle has a foot rest then treat this the same way as you did the gas pedal in the above instructions.
Again, when the templates are done mail them to:
